Our Distillery

Ferreira Gomes & Filhos

Originating from a family business in the individual name of José Ferreira Gomes the company Ferreira Gomes, Lda is formed in 1993, with the father and now his two sons as associates. This company uses wine, grape pomace and wine lees as raw materials, thus producing quality products of vinous origin. After implementing any new processes these are all constantly accompanied to improve them over time. This policy provides an in-depth knowledge of all our processes, to improve efficiency, profitability and reliability.

    Our commitment to the
    sustainability of the environment

    Our facilities are equipped with solar panels allowing a 30% electric autonomy. The Steam production from our boilers is powered by biomass energy from the fermentation of our raw material (grape pomace) as opposed to fossil fuels allowing 100% autonomy.
